About the Role & Mission
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services using Node.js & Express.js
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-2 years of backend development experience (Node.js, Express.js)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with API design (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
